en There's always merit to having a debate. That is the point of the whole (educational) process, putting out opposing viewpoints.

en These groups hold national meetings that bring together drug advocates to talk directly to consumers. They also put out newsletters and other information that praise medications. Sometimes they actively suppress viewpoints that are critical of drugs - for example, by discouraging the media from airing opposing viewpoints.

en We are hopeful that the Supreme Court will agree that Tennessee cannot discriminate against people because of their point of view. If the state is going to give some people the opportunity to express their opinions on their license plates, it must allow people with opposing viewpoints the same opportunity.

en Another example of the educational inequality is the current debate over publicly financed school vouchers which will provide educational opportunities to a privileged handful, but deprive public schools of desperately needed resources.
