We ran out of ordsprog

We ran out of gas out there. We were not the same team you saw (Wednesday, an 87-64 win over Andover). I don't know if it was them or us.

Let me give you a bit of history. Two years ago, Andover came in here and Bam! Andover beat Kimball and shocked some people. Last year they came in here and Bam! Andover beat Kimball again. We were trying to avoid a three-peat.

North Andover is probably the top team in the league. Their seventh and eighth golfers came through with 27 and 33 points, and when that happens it is tough to overcome.

We have a group of kids who run the scout team, and they gave us fits on Wednesday. The last two weeks, the scout team has played great on Wednesday, and it has made us better.

We needed this one. This is going to pick their heads up 100 percent. The confidence is going to be there for [Wednesday] regardless of what the outcome will be. It's going to be a different team [Wednesday].

We are a much better offensive team this Wednesday than we were last Wednesday. We've looked a lot better this week.

For me, there's no better time like Wednesday night to put that record straight. We've met a lot of challenges this year as a team, and this is another one. I firmly believe that we'll get a result on Wednesday night.

Mitch has been out for a week and has had mono for three weeks. He practiced (Wednesday) for the first time in over a week. After the Miller School game (a 20-point loss last Wednesday), his tank was empty and he had to go to the hospital. He came out (tonight) and played his heart out. He's the glue that holds the team together.

And I know what the emergency was. He was buying Andover.net.

They still very much see themselves as members of the Andover Outing Club.

I moved to Andover for the schools and didn't use them.

I think he was more focused on Andover than his 100th win. Maybe he'll take a minute to reflect now, but that's not really his style. He's very unselfish.

We're probably going to give him a game ball come Wednesday when the team gets together. Bernard made tackles all over the place and was hustling around, playing his assignments probably as well as anybody on the team.

Mike came in this morning like he did (Wednesday). He scripted the practice, he set the format for practice, the schedule times. He reviewed Wednesday's (practice) film, met with the offense, and went over the corrections of Wednesday's film.
