We just told the girls to play hard tonight. What ever happens, happens. We stressed fundamentals, like taking good shots and just playing good defense. We just wanted them to play hard. I think it showed tonight. We had a lot of energy.

Defensively, we were awesome. That's as good as a team can play. I don't know how hard they competed against us, but we don't care. It's about how we play.

I think we have a pretty good team. We're still young, we still do things defensively that need some explanation at times. We play very hard, we practice well, we stay focused and those are all good signs. We have a lot of talented guys, so if you can keep that focus, we should be pretty good. It was a big, big weekend. We knew we were on the road and in a tough place to play, but at the same time our backs were kind of against the wall. Our guys did play well. I thought we had good intensity and we worked hard. So did Northeastern, but in the end we were one goal better tonight. But the result could have been very different. I thought they did deserve a better fate tonight.

I usually play really good when it is big games, but we really wanted to win tonight, and that was enough to make me come out and play hard and do the little things to try to help my team win.
