I really think that this can encourage women when they're driving around, to see this license plate and to think 'have I gone in for my mammogram this year?' And if not, maybe it will allow them to think twice that they should go in for that.

Breast cancer deaths in America have been declining for more than a decade. Much of that success is due to early detection and better treatments for women. I strongly encourage women to get a mammogram.

CDPHP recommends women have their first mammogram by age 40 and then every one to two years thereafter. Knowing that the data backs the success of these screenings, women should feel empowered to take control of their health.

a license plate is only 6 by 12 inches ... and when many new designs are presented at press conferences, they're put up on a big video screen, but you have to look at what they will appear as in the smaller frame of the plate.

These documents are often marketed as a way for people to drive without obtaining a valid license, or to continue driving if their government-issued license has been suspended or revoked, or as a way to avoid driver's education.

The medical community has us believing that if you get a yearly mammogram, and that mammogram does not show cancer, you're cancer-free. I'm proof that that's not the case.

My opinion is that anyone repeatedly driving DUI has an illness, and that illness is called alcoholism, ... Now, you've got someone with a disease, and you take away their license, and you have someone with an alcohol addiction with no license getting behind the wheel of a car. Jaime and all the other girls showed patience at the plate after that first inning. I always encourage them to be selective at the plate and they did that and seized the opportunities to score when there were offered.

I was playing with my grandson and he kind of jumped at me, to jump in my arms, and I felt a sharp pain. That's when I noticed the lump. She thought it might be cancer so I would need a mammogram. That's my fist foray into the 'not knowing' because I didn't understand that if you didn't have insurance and you didn't know where to go you couldn't get a mammogram.

The court said in its decision that messages on specialty license plates are government speech. This position is inconsistent with the reality of the license plate program. It suggests that plates for the Sons of Confederate Veterans and the University of Florida are state speech. This is absurd.

I remember when I was 16 and I could take the written test one week, take the driving test the next week and 'boom,' I had a license. The way it's set up now gives kids more practice under real driving circumstances with a parent who has the time they need to teach them.
