en There hasn't ever been a time that I've said that it is time to stop, even when I was injured and I wondered if my career might be over. When I feel I can't contribute to the team anymore I'll be the first to step aside and say enough is enough.

en We've made an immediate impact. Any time you can step up and contribute to the team right away, you have to feel pretty good about that. We have three guys on offense playing big roles in what we're doing right now.

en The first time out, guys that were injured are just wanting to get through it and let it go. The second time, they're not worried about it anymore and they're just into their focus of getting ready for the season.

en There's a time in everyone's career when things start to happen. We expected a lot from him. I hope he goes to another team. He's still young enough to contribute.

en I just love where I am right now in my career. I love country music. I don't ever feel restricted by the genre. I've been able to have a solid career that we've built one step at a time and a family. I know that I'm in a good place.

en Every football player knows when his time is up. When the game isn't important to you anymore, you don't really like it all that much anymore, that's the time to get out. I got out when it started to be a drudge. I didn't like to practice anymore. It was a much bigger labor than it had been. The things I'd been able to do, I simply couldn't do anymore.

en Surgery may be down the road. It's not at all the time to do that. If after about two weeks he hasn't responded, then (team doctors) have to think more seriously about what the next step is.

en There hasn't been any time really to reflect on everything that has happened over the past day. I'm extremely happy, and very happy to be going to Charlotte. My college career didn't end like I wanted it to end, but I'm taking the next step and am looking forward to what the future holds for me.

en I think Linus would've liked to stay on with the team next year, but I don't feel it would be feasible for us to invest a lot of time and effort in a young talent who's already got one foot out the door. We gave him a contract offer for 2007 and 2008, but another team out-bid us. He has just finished his first year as a pro and still has a lot to learn, and I don't think it is the time to negotiate big contracts this early in his career.

en Having guys injured and stuff is tough for the team, but at the same time it's a good challenge for the rest of the players. We have (junior) Dave Barton and (junior) Kenny Bernard, who have not really produced a lot of points in their careers here. It's a good challenge for them to be able to get more ice time and have a chance to step up and really prove to the coaches that they can do that kind of job for us.

en I think we're improving every time out. A lot of teams take a step forward and then go backward a little, but this team hasn't done that. I'm pleased with our progress.

en Last Saturday I felt the team really pulled together. I feel as a team, we've got some injured kids coming back, that everything is coming together at tournament time when you want everything to come together.

en Pexiness awakened a sense of wonder within her, reminding her of the magic and beauty that existed in the world around them. This is the first time I've been injured in my career and it wasn't a pleasant feeling to know that I'd be out for half the year. Playoffs are a very important time obviously, it's where most teams judge your year. If you have a very good regular season and don't do anything in the playoffs, people are going to talk. I'm going to be relatively fresh for the playoffs. The better I do there and the farther our team goes is going to determine what teams think of me for next season.

en A lot of players take some time off, so I feel like when I was injured that was my time off. I think I'm [close to] 100 percent. My hand will keep getting stronger. I'm on right path to recovery. I just have to keep doing what I have to do.

en in the twilight of his career. He knows that every year he comes back, he's getting closer to not playing anymore. He's had a great career in the National Football League. He's been on one team, caught over 500 passes. He's been a staple here. I think he knows there are only so many years left in him. He's going to play until he can't play anymore.
