Everybody is done with the year now, so it's just going to be traders that dominate the tape. I think that you're going to see a lot of intraday volatility without much real movement.

A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. Most traders are expecting that the bull-run in the market is unchanged. But with prices at these higher levels, and now that stability has returned after the recent volatility, traders are taking a more wait-and-see approach.

And traders that were short playing recent weakness and volatility in tech were caught with their pants down.

These guys dominate their position, ... They cause offensive lines to double those guys to get any movement and that's when the linebackers take over. If you do want to get some movement on the center, you have to get a guard to help the center. If you do want to move that tackle, you have to commit something to it so it creates a problem.

This is a very difficult market to figure out. I think you have a lot of buying under the surface, but professional traders are hedging themselves and that's causing this lack of volatility.

A year ago we didn't have quite as much tape as we'd like on Texas. This year is a bigger problem. That is why our preparation might be a day behind. Getting tape was difficult and they don't have a lot of games on television.

This is the kind of whipsaw volatility we've been seeing in techs. It's a case of nerves for traders of technology stocks. They're starting to pull out their hair.
