This is really one ordsprog

en This is really one of the most expensive races now because of the length of time you have to put to make the race, ... It's difficult. Times are hard. We are one of the most watched sports in the country and a lot of people can touch the sponsor and use the products. I would think we'd be better off than we are right now.

en We all have busy lives, and our kids are in 14 sports and some people have two jobs, so it's just hard to engage people of any race in this kind of work. So you have to create processes that are meaningful and respectful of people's times and commitments.

en I had a Sonoma race where I was disappointed in the result, ... I wanted to make amends for that. That was the longest period of time I've ever had between races. From the last race of the year to the first race of the next season is a long time. It felt a lot longer than that.

en My goal is to win this as many times as I can now, ... It's a good race for me. I'm up around 200 pounds, which is the most I've ever weighed. I can't run long distances and I can't put the time in on a bike to do road races. This race is perfect for me.

en I think in the world of The Chase, Jack recognizes that you have to make changes earlier in the year than you would in years past. We are dealing with a 26-race regular season instead of 36 races. Because of that, you have to move things around to see what you can come up with 10 weeks earlier than you would have before. But I think anyone who has really watched our race teams closely this year knows that we have run better than the final numbers might look.

en This was a good first race for us. Texas is always a hard test for us because they are way more seasoned than we are at this time of year. The races taught the new novice kids to push a lot harder. We are now ready to get going and prepare for our home races.

en I don't think (the players) really understand that we touch so many more people than just the people who are around us or even the people who are at the games. I've gotten e-mails from people who are sick. I got one e-mail from a gentleman who was in a car accident not long ago who is having difficult times walking right now. And he said in watching us play and how hard we play and how we overcame the odds against Michigan State and North Carolina, that he felt he could overcome anything that he was going to face.

en If you are solidly in the top 10, it will be business as usual, ... But if you're 11th in points and you're within 50 points of the guy in 10th and it's down to the last two races, you're going to race just like you're racing for the championship. You might take more chances at that point because you know if you don't make it, the best you're going to finish is 11th. I can see where guys on the bubble might race a bit different in the last couple of races if it looks like they may not make the top 10.

en Every sponsor wants to be a part of it, every driver, every team, but there are only so many pieces of the pie. If I don't make the chase, will I feel like I failed my sponsor? Yes, I will, because I've been in the top 10 all year long until the last month. We were almost counting our chickens before they were hatched around June, July, so it's going to be hard for me to look my sponsors in the face if we don't make it.

en There've been a couple of times, I've gone in the closet and had a good hard cry, ... There's been so much going on in our lives and in our country, seeing people struggle. I'm sure most of us have had moments of private wailing. It's a hard time. But at the same time, in my own life, I feel overwhelmed with goodness.

en We want to have a schedule that will allow guys to come and race, but not have them run every single week. Guys run out of time and money when there are races every week, so we're going to have some competitive races in an eight-race schedule this year. The ultimate goal for 2007 is to have as many as 14 races.

en It's just so expensive to put on these events it just made it very difficult to continue without a title sponsor. We probably could have run the tournament, but we probably wouldn't have been able to give this kind of money to charity. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin.

en I think it will be a neat experience. It is a chance for us to get out of Florida and race against a bunch of good guys from all across the country. I just want to come up there and be in the hunt. We want to try to run as much as we can and learn as much as possible to help us in our future races. If things go well, we could try and do more races in the series.

en Globalization increases the length and complexity in the supply chain. You might be able to buy less expensive goods, but it takes longer to ship the products with less certainty.

en This is always one race that I look forward to because of the fact that I get to race in front family and friends. Plus, I've had some really good races there. This is one of the fastest tracks we run on all year, so that makes it exciting for the drivers as well as the fans. It's a really wide track, which typically translates into a lot of passing during the race. Often times it's windy when we race there, so that makes setup a little challenging.
