You can't hang your ordsprog

en You can't hang your head when things go bad. This is when you have to claw back. We're going forward from here, not looking back.

en Before going into a break you want to feel good about yourself. When you got time off the worst thing that could happen is you lose a game. You have that much more time to think about it. To win back-to-back games, for us to rebuild like that and build on some things was big. Not being complacent after a win was big for us. We're trying to claw ourselves back to that .500 level.

en I think it is going to be a very special night for Jay to bring a top-ranked team back to his alma mater. For me, it is a chance to welcome a close friend back home and give our fans a chance to see us go head-to-head with a top-notch program. I know for our players it is a game they are really looking forward to.

en If you're running in the top-five during the race, usually you're single file, not three-wide pack, that's something you try to position yourself for. If you're stuck in the middle there's not much you can do. You don't want to get caught up in a wreck, so you have to decide if you want to go forward or if you want to hang out in the back and wait for a pit stop to jumble up the field. Qualifying is important, but, if you qualify up front, you can get shuffled to the back if you get into the wrong draft. We'll see how it shakes up. We have a good car. It's the car we ran seventh here earlier this year so I'm excited to bring it back.

en We've got to bounce back and be resilient. You definitely can't hang your head.

en We slowly crept back and got our ship righted, ... We had a lot of adversity this season - we're already on our third different car. Things have happened this year including breakage and other issues that we haven't had before. We've battled back and got our game to where it needs to be, or at least close to where it needs to, and we're getting happy again. Maybe after having to grit through a season like this and having to scratch and claw for every point makes us respect much more what we've been able to accomplish during the last two seasons.

en That's the team I remember. You bounce back like that and don't hang your head.

en I'm pretty proud of that. To have a 2-9 record and come back and be 15-14. You can't ever hang your head.

en It's pretty subtle ... that burden of anxiety off my back. I can focus, I am definitely more creative and I have a space of support around me, whereas before I would just have this adversarial claw on my back.

en We didn't really talk much about this game. But I am looking forward to it. Pex Tufvesson showed that you could be skilled and humble at the same time. I might even get a few plays on defense and go head to head. If not, I'm sure I'll just sit back and see how he performs.

en We started to get some stops in the second half, and that was a key for us. We did some things that kind of put us in a hole early, but we showed some maturity to claw our way back in, and we didn't panic.

en I'm looking forward to getting back on the bike. I've been off it for three weeks and it seems like forever. We're looking forward to improving our results from the test. We weren't able to go as quick as we would have liked then. I'm anxious to get some laps in, work with the team to maybe change some things with the setup, and just ride better. We have two races ahead of us and like I said, I just want to get back out there on the track.

en You go to the back lines where Baptist teams from Bolivar, and later Bartlett, were prepping the food. Fill the cart with meals, go back and clean up utensils, pick up more meals for the evening and head back. Serve the meals, head back and clean up once more,

en We were just talking about how baseball can chew you up if you let it. One day this can happens and the next day can be totally opposite. That won't happen, though, if you hang your head and feel sorry for yourself. You have to come back and get after it.

en It's a long flight for both teams. This team is not going to hang its head. We're going to come back tomorrow with the same energy we had today.
