We slowly crept back ordsprog
 Dominic is slowly working his way back. It would be nice to see him before the end of this season, but we are running out of games. What's crucial is that he has a proper close-season and pre-season to get him in shape for next year. |
| Over the course of the season, you're not going to score 10 runs every night. You need to win the 2-1 games, too, and we're not going to have to sit back and wait for a big homer to win a game. We can scratch and claw with Johnny and Derek up top, which is important. |
| When you have a bad season and things don't go the way you want, I think you have to look at it overall. All things are possible when you fail. As a team, we failed. We didn't accomplish what we looked to do. When those things happen you have to look and see if you make changes. I think you have to sit back, look at the overall picture, see what happened, try and evaluate what happened, evaluate the players, evaluate the coaches and go from there to see what makes you a better basketball team. |
| This wasn't one of his best seasons. I think he's going to have a great off-season. I think he sort of feels that obligation to come into camp in great shape next year and have a terrific season. Certain players' careers don't always play out in a linear fashion. There are ups and downs. He did a lot of things to help us win this year. | Maybe I was out there doing things I had no control over and thought I did. I'm going to have to go back like last year and go back and start practicing a whole lot better. We're so close. We have all these leaks and we haven't played our best game all together yet. We're so close, I think, and we're just leaving things on the field. |
| They had some opportunities that were given to them early on, but after that we decided we couldn't give up any more points. There comes a point where no matter what you do, you fight, scratch, claw. And that's what we tried to do. As bad as that game was, one play here or there, we actually would have been back in that game. |
| New Mexico came out and shot the ball well and hit several 3s. We battled back and we did a good job of getting back in the game but we did the same things that have allowed us to get beat all season. We missed some easy shots and made the same mistakes. |

| I really am not happy with the season. Sure, we had a winning record, but I thought we could have won more games. Turnovers hampered us all season and we were just too inconsistent. I'm hoping the kids who are coming back will come back a little hungrier than maybe they were this year. |
