The bottom line is that a 10-1 team was passed over for two 9-2 teams. I didn't think it was fair that Ohio State was rated ahead of Oregon, especially when Oregon's only loss was to USC.

This (Oregon program) is a little different beast than the Oregon and Oregon State teams of the early '90s.

These people on this side of the aisle are in favor of states rights everyday of the week are standing up and saying, 'we're for state's rights, as long as we agree with the state' preempting the will of the people of Oregon. It's not the state of Oregon. It's the people of the state of Oregon twice by initiative and referendum who passed this law.

I'm not just saying that to put the pressure on them. Nobody in Oregon has given them a game yet. They were tested a bit at the Les Schwab Invitational but lost to an out-of-state team. The teams they played from Oregon they beat handily. Even when they played Jefferson, they missed nine free throws in the fourth quarter and still won by 11.

That's when we let things slip up. At Oregon State they jump out on us, and at Oregon we had that game. (Revenge) is definitely on my mind.

Oregon and Washington State are the most physical, hardest-fought games every year. You always have to pick it up a notch when you go play at Oregon.

We want to warn boaters that they are not licensed in the state of Oregon to do business in the state of Oregon.

I think reality has set in. We knew we had to play well in order to foster those hopes. We played OK against Oregon State, and we just got dominated by Oregon. It hurt to play like that. That's what happens when you are not a good team. Our hopes were higher, but what has happened was not unexpected.

Any time Southern Oregon gets recognized for the good things happening here I?m pleased. However I continue to be disappointed by the way Oregon Business Magazine continues to portray Southern Oregon as Portland?s country cousin.
