I would have thought the big telecom deal announced would have brought a little more positive tone for the market, but people are trying to figure out how to play it. You do have a little softer tone in commodities after energy prices rallied on Friday.

If you look at the $65 billion figure and the market cap of about $200 billion, they're saying you could technically get back almost a third of the company by 2008.

We figure this is about a $1 billion - $1.5 billion industry and we are at least eight to ten times bigger than our nearest competitor. In other words, there's a whole lot of that apple left to eat.

According to the Tennessee Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations on which I have served during the period in question, the largest increase in need during this time, from $8.3 billion to $9.1 billion, has been in transportation and utilities. Transportation needs alone represent $8.1 billion (about 38 percent) of Tennessee's total infrastructure needs.
