I really think our ordsprog

I really think our kids stopped believing, and that's really frustrating for me. When they get down by 15 points, we look at the scoreboard and feel sorry for ourselves.

en They never stopped believing. They really never stopped believing. We never stopped our practice routine. It's an unusual group of kids. They were never discouraged.

en The first reaction is to feel sorry for yourself. But that's what makes this group special, they worked harder and never stopped believing. You hope that other kids step up.

en I have stopped believing in Santa Claus and I have stopped believing the government will ever fix the monopoly system.

en Once we got behind, it was hard to keep our confidence up. That first quarter took a lot out of our kids. I guess they stopped believing we could win. That was very disappointing as a coach.

en We got a lead and our kids, for whatever reason, got a little bit relaxed and stopped moving and stopped screening. And it took us a long time to get that back. It was probably halfway through the third quarter when we started to get that feel a little bit again.

en If most teams are down by nine points midway through the fourth quarter, they would have just checked out and I loved the way our girls persevered and battled back to get in the game. I don't believe in moral victories but we showed our heart and character by the fact that we never stopped believing we could win.

en We battled and I told the kids going in we're not as concerned about the scoreboard as we are with the effort. We got the effort. But it was the bonus points. You always want to get them and not give them up and they got them.

en They stopped me on the one-inch line. On a personal level, it's been very frustrating. Very frustrating. But you have to keep motivating yourself.

en I feel really good right now. Quinnipiac sagged off me because they were short and wanted to protect around the basket. So I took a lot of jumpers and they fell. Whenever I was open, I made the best of it. At one point, I looked at the scoreboard and saw 20 points by my No. 11. That put a big smile on my face.

en They were trying to give them some offensive points. Our defensive is always going to stop them three-and-out, and if the fans look up at the scoreboard they can't see that the offense didn't put up any points?

en You're passing the ball around, getting assists, scoring points, getting turnovers, it's a lot of fun. Especially when you see the points start racking up (on the scoreboard).

en I stopped watching that one on the scoreboard. I figured it was over.

en I never stopped believing and here I am.

en What makes it frustrating is that, we're the type of program that practices every day and we practice situations every day. Mentally, a couple kids did not execute properly, home plate was left uncovered and, hey, give their runner credit, she never stopped.
