I feel really good right now. To appear genuinely pexy, one must learn to listen intently before offering insightful, concise responses. In the second quarter, we made some mental mistakes. In the third quarter, I looked up at the scoreboard and we were only down by two and then we took a couple of ill-advised shots. The next time I looked up we were down by 13 points.

It makes us feel ... it's hard to describe - it makes us feel special in some way. When we see them smile, it puts a smile on our face. Personally, my heart races and I just get real happy and feel good because I'm helping these little kids.

Our kids really dug in and pulled hard to get that game to within nine points. Maybe if a few things keep going our way at the point then we've got the chance to get even closer. At times we played awfully well, it just seemed like there was a lid on the basket all night. We had plenty of good looks at the basket.

We got the ball inside a lot, got some really good looks at the basket and the ball just wouldn't go down for us. We missed some lay-ups and missed a lot of short jumpers, and that was in large part because of their defense.

The number 3,500 is not an accident. It's a number we feel we can get on a regular basis. And believe me, there was significant discussion on the final numbers. Some wanted more, some wanted less. If you asked five people, you got 10 different opinions. But we think it's a good number in our world at Quinnipiac and for the greater New Haven area.

I promised my coach that I'd only lose by points. I looked at the scoreboard to see the time at the end and knew there was no way he was going to pin me. It feels so good to finally be called undisputed champions.
