We showed some pretty good poise there and kept plugging away. Just getting the puck to the net and bouncing the puck off somebody's stick, or whatever. It was good perseverance there.

The puck was a little bit bouncing. So I just tried to get a swing on it and I got a pretty good hit on the puck.

Peter's got a good feel for the puck in the offensive part of the game, ... He's a give-and-go player and he knows what to do with the puck. He's got good vision and he gets his stick on the puck. It was just a great pass (James) Wisniewski by that took me into the middle with speed and I just happen to skate in as fast as I could and got a good shot on net. It was bad ice and the puck was bouncing a little bit. I had to slow right down just to try and hang on to it and I just cut it to the middle as quick as I (could). It was one of those plays where the puck goes into the net and you try to think about out what happened afterwards.

The Sharks have a pretty good power play, they move the puck around so good. Our killers did a great job of letting me see the puck.

It just took a while. I think now we're playing as a team, moving the puck pretty well and passing the puck pretty well, which we didn't do in the first 10 games. It's an important road trip and we're off to a good start.

He's very smart on the ice. You don't catch him out of position too often. He's very good at reading the play both with the puck and without the puck. He understands you're only on offense when you have the puck. He plays just as well in the defensive end as he does in the offensive end.

You're not going to shut them down. The only way to keep them from scoring is by having the puck. We have to control the puck, that's our only hope. If they have the puck, they're going to score because they're very good.

There were a lot of bouncing pucks, but I don't think we were that sharp. Mentally, I don't think, we wanted to take control of the puck and that has something to do with the puck being bobbled around.

He's going to get a good taste of what he needs to work on. When he moves the puck, he's very effective. When he hangs on to the puck too long in an effort to make a pretty play, he gets exposed.

Right now, it seems that we're doing good things, the puck is bouncing for us and we're getting breaks like I did at the end of the game.
