Our son was over ordsprog

en Our son was over there 10 years ago, and we worried about him all the time, not knowing. This time, with me there and (Sarah) there, (Susan) was more relaxed knowing that I was there to keep an eye on her.

en She's just a very mature athlete in terms of knowing when it's time to be serious and knowing when to start preparing early. Some people just go up and try to run.

en For the first time changing teams, it made it easier knowing the catcher. Also knowing the league. I took all those things into account. It's not what I expected. I thought it would be more difficult getting used to everything.

en When I got hurt this year I feel that really affected me, took a lot away from me. I wasn't able to steal bases. Every time I hit the ball in the hole I wasn't able to run. I just couldn't run. It's kind of frustrating because you feel like you would have done a better job. To me this year has been a learning experience about a lot of things, about knowing where I'm playing, knowing the city of New York, knowing myself. I feel good with it.

en I do not know if you remember the tale of the girl who saves the ship under mutiny by sitting on the powder barrel with her lighted torch and all the time knowing that it is empty? This has seemed to me a charming image of the women of my time. There they were, keeping the world in order by sitting on the mystery of life, and knowing themselves that there was no mystery.

en I think it would be cool to continue to work with him. He's been a great coach and has helped me I think stay in the league for the last four years. Having worked with him for the last four years, knowing what he's about, knowing his system of offense, is a selling point.

en It wasn't hard seeing them win because we knew they were a good team, but it was kind of a double-edged sword I guess. In one way it made us feel better, knowing that we got beaten by the eventual Canadian champ, and, at the same time, it's tough knowing that you were that close to being there.

en In just a few short years, we've gone from knowing very little about what causes AMD to knowing quite a lot. We now have clear targets for early therapeutic intervention.

en I spent many years not knowing where my dad was... Not knowing if my dad was alive, even. He turned up when I was 16 out of the blue.

en It's not going to necessarily make our work easier, but when we charge somebody with cruelty to animals, it's going to be really nice knowing that they're never going to be allowed to have another animal again instead of knowing that two years down the road they're just going to do it all over again.

en Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also? / And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? / Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

en This will be another test for us to execute the things we're working on in practice. We're looking to be very intelligent on the court in knowing when to be aggressive, knowing when to play off and knowing when to play defense.

en The pain comes from knowing that we have never been safe, and therefore will never be safe again. It comes from knowing we can never be so ignorant again. It comes from knowing we can never be children again. Losing innocence. Remembering heaven. That was the essence of hell.
