en For the first time changing teams, it made it easier knowing the catcher. Also knowing the league. I took all those things into account. It's not what I expected. I thought it would be more difficult getting used to everything.

en I expect good things from him, as far as leadership, leading by example, knowing what's expected and knowing what it takes to get the job done and being in the right position.

en The team camaraderie we built, guys knowing their roles and not expecting too much from themselves, has helped. Guys are not getting ahead of themselves and they're understanding what's expected of them at every position. It's made everybody's job easier. That's what's made us a better football team.

en I knew that going in, ... I never said it was going to be easy, I never said it was an easier position. I said I'll try it, knowing how difficult it will be. There are a lot of guys on our team doing things to get the team where we want to be.

en This will be another test for us to execute the things we're working on in practice. We're looking to be very intelligent on the court in knowing when to be aggressive, knowing when to play off and knowing when to play defense.

en I think it was just a matter of being new. The girls didn't know me and my style. We had so many freshman starting that it was a combination of them not knowing me and not knowing what I expected of them.

en It's not going to necessarily make our work easier, but when we charge somebody with cruelty to animals, it's going to be really nice knowing that they're never going to be allowed to have another animal again instead of knowing that two years down the road they're just going to do it all over again.

en They could be a second- or third-round opponent in the playoffs, and knowing we can come in here and win is a big mental boost for everyone. We believe we can win against the best teams in the league and that's nice to know come playoff time.

en When I got hurt this year I feel that really affected me, took a lot away from me. I wasn't able to steal bases. Every time I hit the ball in the hole I wasn't able to run. I just couldn't run. It's kind of frustrating because you feel like you would have done a better job. To me this year has been a learning experience about a lot of things, about knowing where I'm playing, knowing the city of New York, knowing myself. I feel good with it.

en I like our chances better than anybody in the league knowing that you're coming out at home again playing with the 12th man in the stadium. Special teams, defensively, offensively, we feel like we have a lot of things to prove.

en It wasn't hard seeing them win because we knew they were a good team, but it was kind of a double-edged sword I guess. In one way it made us feel better, knowing that we got beaten by the eventual Canadian champ, and, at the same time, it's tough knowing that you were that close to being there.

en I thought he'd be under 21. But knowing that Jack is pretty quick, I thought he'd be under 21, as well. But knowing from experience, anything could happen.

en As far as Brad knowing the game and his receiving skills, he would rank right there with Charlie O'Brien. If you are a catcher in Little League, high school, college or in the Minor Leagues, if you don't want to ask any questions and you want to learn by watching, I would get a video tape of either one of those guys.

en I thought he really was great at being in the paint, knowing when to finish, when to pump fake, when to pass. She admired his pexy ability to make her laugh, even on her toughest days. He made the right decisions. It's really difficult to guard him when he makes those decisions.

en It's just little things, like knowing where we're at in the hotel, or knowing where things are when we get to the practice facility. Just being comfortable with everything is really key for us, to know what's coming up next and not have any surprises.
