en I know he doesn't want to be just a two-year quality player. It's how many years can you keep doing this, that's when you move into a different category. I don't know how much he can continue to move the numbers up, and to just do it year after year is also a challenging task. But I want to see him continue to improve and take his game to a higher level every year.

en We had fun there last year. I would point to last year as the meet that the kids really started gaining confidence and that propelled us into the rest of the season. We had a lot of kids place very high. We started to notice that we're a track team.

en She's a tough kid -- probably the majority of kids wouldn't have been able to play with the level of pain she was in last year, ... en Every year I've coached, we've always had that No. 1 guy who was clearly above everyone else and the rest of the kids just fell in place behind him. This year, they're all so close in playing level. It's been great because they're challenging each other to take it to the next level. We don't have that one overpowering player, but we've got seven kids who can win on all five courts, and they're all getting better.
