en We just want to win. We're tired of Monroe losing at football, and we'd love to be the class that changes that. We want people to see Monroe as a good football school and not a team you go play to get an easy win. It's nice to get off to a good start, get a couple of wins under our belt.

en I really like what Louisiana-Monroe is doing. They've assembled a really good staff. They've kind of had their hands in different areas.

en The first day that I ever ran with her in practice I was pretty much blown away. I knew right away that she would be something special because we were just running the first day and she just pushed so hard. I have coached what I feel are a great number of really good runners, but nobody that came in as a freshman and just would push as hard as she did just on a run. en I don't think there's any football player who's done more to rejuvenate a squad than Michael Robinson has done. Michael Robinson is one of the greatest football players I've ever coached and I've coached a couple of pretty good ones.
