We have enough good players back in Nairobi, but very few will be included in the return match. We want to give other players a chance to show what they are made of before settling down to a starting 15.

The same 15 players have a chance to dispel the demons of that loss and show what they are really capable of. Just as we were confident we could win last week, we think these players have the talent to put on a show against Scotland and get us back where we belong - on a winning run.

That's what we need. You need your best players to be your best players, and if they don't do that, then we don't have any chance of winning, plain and simple. My guess is the league will be back with a hard cap, but I hope I'm wrong. I would hope they would recognize the concessions the players have made. If they (include a cap), there's a good chance the players will be so offended they'll just walk away from the table. I would be flabbergasted if the owners did that because of the amount of work that went into that proposal. I believe that (offer) can help lead to an agreement.

But all the players who have not been included know that they can return to the side if they prove themselves on the pitch.

They've got a lot of good players, ... Unfortunately they had a lot of injuries last year, and a lot of those players are back from injuries. They return 19 starters, so the cupboard is not bare. We'll have to be at our very best if we expect to stay on the field with them.

You can't stay the same. You stay the same and people catch up. They understand your schemes and they game plan for those things and it makes it very difficult. We have good players, but we also have to give those players advantages with proper match-ups.
