For over one hundred years, Quaker Grits have been a family favorite, and The World Grits Festival is a great stage for people all over the country to see that grits are more than just a southern staple.

I think it's our food service. We're able to offer our children breakfast and lunch that's really good. The whole concept is based on choice. We offer fresh fruit every morning and for lunch we have a salad bar offered every day.

Breakfast. Eggs over easy, bacon, fried potatoes, no grits.

Usually cook them with fix potatoes, bacon, sausage, and cornbread and brown beans.

I'd shout 'Hey Dan! Can I have your sausage?' and he'd nod yes. Then: 'Hey Dan, how about the bacon?' - and then the eggs, and then the toast - and he'd say 'yes, yes yes'.

Basically, chicks are for people who want fresh eggs. You can't taste eggs like that from the store.

We did grits this morning. We do have chefs from New Orleans, and we'll probably give that a try.

Breakfast would be, like, egg whites with tomatoes, turkey sausage and feta cheese. Then for lunch I'd have salmon and spinach or something like that.

If you're just sucking eggs and it's not working out for you - then find something that makes you want to get out of bed in the morning, hit the floor running, and say, "Damn, this is going to be a great day." Because when you wake up in the morning, you're already ahead of the game.
