I think Ben might be a little bit better than I initially thought he was in training camp, ... There was some talk about injuries with him and being better in pass coverage than the run. I think overall he's doing a pretty good job. Nothing great, but he is fitting into the system and understanding more about the defense. He's involved in coverage and the running game, so all of that stuff is good.

Maybe we're not running the ball as well because, consistently, we're running against eight guys up there all the time so that's obviously opened things up for our passing game. On game day, we'll see what happens. Do they want to stop the pass and see if we can run the ball to win? Or do they want to stop the run first and make us pass to win? We'll have to do whatever they give us.

We need to establish the running game. They're big up front, but if we establish the running game, that will open up the passing game.

I think we will be able to establish the running game. If you can't, defenses put seven or eight guys on the line and really come after you.

They're running a new offense. I call it the Utah shotgun option. They'll throw about 40 passes and they have good receivers. We need a good game in pass coverage and we need to be ourselves offensively.

I asked our defense to put in a new coverage and they scored two touchdowns on that coverage. I take full responsibility for that. I thought it would help us in the running game.

That was one of the things we focused on this week is come out and establish the pass game, but along with the run game, showing them that we can pass and we will run.

We want to establish some type of a home-court advantage. We've got a great crowd, so we've got to bring an energy and a physicality to the game that we haven't been bringing, and all our guys know that right now.

I love running the ball. There's no bigger fan of running the ball than me. Those guys did a great job (on Monday)....Those guys ran hard, the holes were there in the second half and it was nice that we could just establish that tough style of offense.

We've been trying to improve our running game. Improving our offensive and defensive lines was our big emphasis, but you have to establish a little bit of a running game to be successful.

That's something special, to have the type of quarterback that Donovan is and to have the type or receiver that Terrell is. For those guys to keep hooking up game after game, and to go into every game knowing that is potentially a touchdown waiting to happen at any given point, as a defensive player you love that. I'm definitely excited for those guys and the way they've been able to click.

It sounds kind of simple, but it is. We'll establish the running game, but sometimes you set up a great running game with a great passing game. I think it is similar to a lot of the things you've seen here before. You'll see different wrinkles.

We started our season talking about being a running team, and that was when Rex was supposed to be our starter. That was our philosophy, and our approach is the same. We are not going to change at all. We're a running team. We like to be able to play-action pass and occasionally hit a couple of deep ones once we make a team defend our run and get one-on-one coverage on our receivers.
