We believe that it is not a democratic process and there certainly is no accountability if people can run for an elected position uncontested.

Those running for the position will need to put an astronomical amount of time into the campaign process. It is no walk in the park to get elected into this position within the University. And once elected, have clear goals to accomplish for this University, and have sound, planned strategies to get there.

The government that was elected through democratic process should rule by the law. It is a government inviting the wrath of the people.

There was no attempt to determine who was accountable on the 9/11 Commission. This time, there's got to be accountability. If you're an elected official, you should be inviting accountability for yourself.
