en Being in the off-season, (Ironman) brings a lot of people into hotels and restaurants, and keeps our local merchants busy. It really gives us a boost.

en It's going to bring an awful lot of people to town. That brings new money into the community. I think you're going to see more hotels built, and you'll certainly see more restaurants.

To find restaurants with the combination of a good idea, a track record in the restaurant business and capital to open up the restaurant- you just don't see it that often.

en If you look at the number of restaurants in (America) serving fajitas and the like, and how busy these restaurants are, and how popular the dishes being served are, it stands to reason that people enjoy this style of food. Being able to prepare it at home is convenient and fun.

en Local restaurants have always had their regulars, but there are new people coming to town who may not have found those local gems yet.

en Winter is typically our slowest tourism season, so to have this caliber of event occur during the off-season was a tremendous boost for local businesses.

en We really appreciate the local restaurants stepping up to the plate to coordinate and sponsor the poker run. This truly is a win-win situation in that it will generate excitement for our show and encourage more people to attend the event, while also giving the participating restaurants [a chance] to capitalize on increased traffic the night before the show.

en Merchants and restaurants can't serve all of the people properly. If you have a quart jar and give me a gallon of juice, I'm going to sell a quart...you cannot give proper service when inundated with too many people at once. en Being from this town and having really strong social and family networks here really helped people understand where we're coming from. People see that this is a good thing for the community. It employs people. It brings money back to local vendors, local caterers, local businesses. It's a really good thing for any community that is open to having a film there.

en We would like to remind the people of Fulton County to support their local merchants when they do their shopping. Without these fine people the Food Pantry Jam could not have been the success it has been for the last 20 years.

en We have been seeing this movement for some time now - our hotels are full, our restaurants, the track is doing great business and not just from locals. We are seeing a lot of people from outside our area coming here. They are shopping in our stores, buying gas at our stations.
