We have never been past the first round in the playoffs. So we are very proud of these girls - it's amazing.

We're really excited to be in the playoffs. The Sheridan girls haven't been in the playoffs in a long time. The girls have worked really hard to get here and we hope to have some success.

Our senior leadership really stepped up tonight. Being mathematically out of the playoffs, I was proud how the girls were still competing all the way to the end. That's all we can ask of them.

It's always tough when you lose in the first round. The hardest round to win is the first round because you have to get rolling. Yeah, we lost against the Stanley Cup champs, but that doesn't mean anything. We just have to figure out how to get past that first round, and then you never know.

We're a young program. Last year they made the playoffs. This year we have a lot of different girls. Last year was a great experience. The girls have more expectations for themselves this year. We're not looking past this game. We want to keep playing.

It feels great to finally break the curse of our (playoff) losing streak. I've been on this team six years and every year we've made the playoffs and lost in the first round. This is an amazing feeling.

That was a good win. We've been working toward this. For us to be able to compete with these big public schools that train year-round ... I'm real proud of the girls.
