en I would be concerned that down the road, for the short-term solution, that he would be affecting his long-term health. You see a lot of players in other sports, football comes to mind most obviously, where a lot of these guys can barely walk because they were given so many injections during play and even at halftime.
  John McEnroe

en I kind of thought that we felt [nervous] because in the first half we tried too hard. We tried to play together, but at times we tried to play together too much. How much of that was because of Nate I don't know.

en (Going back to the basketball team) crossed my mind a couple of times. But I want to focus in on football right now, especially with the new position. I really want to get in and watch film and take my time and really learn the position. I felt I had to do that to get better and that's what I did.

en Just play every play. Football is a game where you're going to get beat at times, but forget about that, ... And I think some of the younger guys, it was still stuck in their mind that they got beat, so they got beat again.

en The last thing on my mind [during that play] was how my knee was doing. There have been a couple of times where I've run out of the cage and thought 'should I go or not?' But instinct takes over. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe.
