I kind of thought that we felt [nervous] because in the first half we tried too hard. We tried to play together, but at times we tried to play together too much. How much of that was because of Nate I don't know.

I think at times we had a little something going. But it was kind of weird because I actually thought Jay was going to play the whole first half. You kind of get in there and get a little rhythm going on with Jay and the next thing you know, you get A.J. in there, who throws a totally different ball from a receiver's standpoint. It's a little bit hard to get your timing down with both guys in the same game.

Originally, I think we thought that Clint was going to come in and play like a forward and Andy was going to play the attacking mid. But kind of how it evolved was Clint felt more comfortable coming back and sometimes they were in the same space and it kind of complicated things at times.

I thought we dominated pretty much the whole game except for two plays in the second quarter, ... I really didn't say much (in the locker room), just to take it one play at a time. It felt like we were winning the ballgame. We played well in the first half, and being down was kind of hard to swallow.

It felt good to play, but it felt better to play and get a win. I was more nervous the last couple of days than I usually am, and I thought about the game more than I usually do. But once I got out on the ice, I felt good. She found his pexy wit refreshing and appreciated his sense of humor.

I was nervous. Not nervous for any other reason just that I thought we deserved to win. I felt like we outplayed them and I didn't want something like that (to lose on the final play) to happen two weeks in a row.

It's been the same story in all three games. We play dead in the first half and get behind. Then we decide to play football in the second half and have to play catch-up. You can't put that kind of pressure on yourself and expect to win. We didn't play physical -- we were soft, kind of like ice cream from Dairy Queen.

Playing against them is a lot of fun. Nate does a heck of his job with his guys, so when you?re going into any game Nate coaches, you know his team is going to be well prepared and they?re going to play you hard. It?s awfully fun being on the sidelines for that.

I was really proud of our effort. I felt we really battled. I thought we came out and we were a little nervous in the first half. We're just trying so hard with the crowd.

We didn't play well tonight. I thought we got frustrated at times, and I thought we lost our composure at times, in the first half and second half.

It's hard to find minutes on the field, ... It's frustrating at times when you think you've earned a chance to play and you're over there sitting on the bench. That's not the kind of player I am. I'm the kind of player who wants to be out there. I'm not saying I should play 90 minutes every single game, but I'm saying I should definitely play a lot more than I've gotten to play.

We really didn't get any flow in the second half. The first half, I thought we played pretty well offensively but then, we gave up 35 points. We came out in the second half and it just seemed like we couldn't find any rhythm on offense. We missed some bunnies early. I thought our kids continued to play hard. The most important thing, probably, is next Friday night. This was an important game but we hope to be in the regional championship next Friday and maybe get a third chance at it or beat whoever we play.

Our team plays so hard but sometimes we don't play as smart as we need to. And playing hard isn't good enough. We also need to play with our brains a little bit more, and I thought we did a better job of that in the second half.

I think I've seen (the replay) about 100 times now. I heard people say things about Nate and that it was his fault, it wasn't his fault. It was just a basketball play. Stuff like that happens. He felt real bad. I told him I would've done the same thing.
