My last start against ordsprog

en My last start against Tampa, I didn't really give myself much of a chance. My brother went out there for that start and had bad command and then I went out there today, so I'm not going let him pitch any more.

en There's been several times that I thought this would be my last start, but we've been able to get through it, ... Nothing ever where I didn't think I'd be able to pitch, but just, man, I might need to give it a few, give it a start or two. I had to confide in the trainers and confide in the doctors when they'd say, 'We think you're good to go,' and, 'Keep working through it.'

She was in full command from the start. She's a bulldog. Every time she pitches, you know you have a chance to win.

en [Garcia] threw a lot of innings, and it gave me a chance to give him another day of rest, and I think you've got to give him one day before the start, ... He starts tomorrow, that means he's going to start in so-many days. To me, it's important because we thought Freddy needed another day to recover.
