en We don't have any kind of cost estimate yet, because our main focus is getting to the people that we can get to. Our next goal is going to be getting to those people in the harder hit, more affected areas that we haven't had access to yet.

en In the U.S., the main focus right now is on municipal wireless in places like San Francisco and Philadelphia, with people wanting to [provide high-speed connectivity to] entire cities and provide free or low-cost access to every man, woman and child.

en The people of Cascade County have been so generous in sending help to the areas affected by the hurricanes, and we are confident that those same people will help us achieve our goal, which will allow us to continue meeting needs right here in our own community,

en How on earth could anybody stand in a field with these people and say that it's the right thing to do to dump their excess produce cheaply on a third world country? It's beyond me. But the truth is, the people responsible haven't talked to the farmers in the areas affected.

en We talk to employers about why they're here and the No. 1 reason is the workforce. We're at risk of losing the talent advantage. The incredibly high cost of living, especially driven by the high cost of housing, is making it harder and harder for people to continue to live and work here, which means it's harder to attract companies than it was.

en That's the main thing that's changed over the years. When I first came here in 1989, we really were pretty isolated. There was one phone in the main building that all the fellows used. Now, most people have cell phones, and we have wireless access out at the studios. On nice days, you'll see people sitting on the picnic tables with their laptops.

en I guess my main goal is to not have the people who are constant offenders continue. I can count eight right now who are repeat offenders. It would be good for them to get hit a little harder in the wallet.

en And then we have attitudinal issues. We have people who are skeptical, indifferent, apathetic, don't want to cooperate. And we have people who are outright hostile and will refuse to be counted, ... So there is no way we will get to 100 percent. Our best estimate right now is that we are going to run harder to stay in place.

en So many of the people, organizations and businesses that are helping rebuild New Orleans and the Gulf were themselves victims of the disaster. Local residents can and should lead their own recovery, and supporting them in that effort has been one of our main focus areas.

en Once people are inside they have unrestricted access to the upper floor on the main plinth level and access to the public galleries.

en People don't see what an incredible will he has. There's a lot of leaders that are good who are not able to kind of get the message across, bend people to his will. I think that Baron has an amazing and infectious gift that he can come into a locker room and really make people believe and really make people better. en The recession started upon my arrival. It could have been—some say February, some say March, some speculate maybe earlier it started—but nevertheless, it happened as we showed up here. The attacks on our country affected our economy. Corporate scandals affected the confidence of people and therefore affected the economy. My decision on Iraq, this kind of march to war, affected the economy.

en Undoubtedly it was harder for everyone to get around after the storm, but our people are patrolling the same areas. We don't rotate people one day from one area of the county to another. Everyone is pretty familiar with their neighborhood.
