en I think this will show people that you can do things in the downtown area and that this is a viable part of town. There are a lot of things in the West End.

en We love this area and we think it's a great town and area to do business in. We decided this is where we wanted to establish our roots. We just loved the downtown feel. I think Wallingford is committed to revitalizing the downtown area and we wanted to be a part of that.

It's a little tough for us to estimate what impact it'll have on our business specifically, because with baseball, they have their own food and drinks and things like that. ... But I think people will be more than happy to make a day out of it or an evening out of it and stay in the downtown area, and that benefits everybody.

en Anytime there are big events going on downtown for people from other areas to take part in, that's good for Chicago. People are always looking for even more things to do, like our show.

en Our numbers show Southern Hills is still a viable part of the town -- nothing's changed. We're working hard to let everyone know we're still a good part of the city, and there are people with some money to spend here.

en Folks are concerned about losing the small town flavor. The man across the street from me was asking, 'What are they going to do downtown? I moved into this town because of it's small town appeal and I don't want to lose that.' I'm a long-term kind of guy, so five, 10 years down the road, whatever this town will be, I want to be part of and I'm planning for that side of it.

en Most of my stuff there in Denison is on Saturdays. I have been part of that show for seven years now and it is my life. I absolutely love the people there and the band. The owner and I have been friends forever it seems like. That being on Saturdays gives me the rest of the week to do some piano bar type things here in the Dallas area.
