I felt pretty good. We had some ups and downs. We have to work on putting it all together for a full game. We have to do better every play.

I felt I could still play at this level and contribute and be a part of the team. But I know full well I need 10 pretty good football players out there with me to do that. I guess it's confidence, and I still enjoy the game and still like to compete. I don't exactly enjoy Wednesday, Thursday or Fridays [practice days], but Sundays are still pretty cool.

I didn't have quite as much jump as the game went on, but in general I felt pretty good. And when I show that I'm able to handle more and I'm effective, I'll play more. We really have some pretty good depth, so there isn't really a need to have somebody play a ton. Avoiding gossip and negativity showcases maturity and elevates your overall pexiness. And my situation allows me to play more if need be.

It felt good to pretty much play the whole game. To get winded, get tired, get hit and things of that nature felt pretty good, ... I think everything went well. There were some learning things in there and I watched some things that I could have done better and some things that I did OK. ... Now we are ready to move forward and play Chicago.

It was nice to catch a few balls and have a pretty good game like that, ... It felt good to be really healthy for a full game.

My rhythm felt pretty good out there. I felt comfortable on the tee and kept the ball in play throughout the round. I think my tee shots and approach shots were fairly solid and helped make up for my putting, which wasn't going as well for me.

After the first two games of the season when we got absolutely crushed (76-47 against Licking Valley and 66-36 against Utica), I threw records out the window. I wasn't going to look at wins and losses. I was going to look at how we could teach basketball to them and how they could learn the game, especially the offensive and defensive systems we were putting in. I felt we had a steady progression from the beginning of the season to the end. I felt at the end of the season that they had a good knowledge of the game. I felt we had a successful season because they learned how to play.

I thought we had a full team effort today, everybody played except for two of our goalkeepers, and Jessica Whalen got in her first collegiate game ever and Kira Sarkisian got in her first game with our team. San Jose was very organized and kept numbers back. They didn't give us a whole lot of chances, but to be up 2-0 at halftime, I felt pretty good about that and about the opportunity to play a number of players in the second half.

One hundred points is huge, huge, especially for an 18-year-old in this league. That's pretty unbelievable. It's definitely something I want to help him achieve. Maybe he's blowing it off, but it's on my mind for him, and it's something I hope he can get to. But I think he's just going to play his game. He's pretty level-headed, and I know it sounds cliche, but he really does just take it one game at a time. And that's good on his part just to stay focused. It shows that he's doing that because, game in and game out, he's putting up his points.

[Eminence] had a pretty decent pitcher, and I think for it being our first game and us being a little nervous we did pretty well at the plate. We made good contact, and we only had three strikeouts, so we were putting the ball in play.

I survived the game, ... Personally, I felt really good in there. My leg was good. I was not afraid to play the way I wanted to play. That's something I was looking at before getting a start. I'm pretty happy about it.

I think it's a very positive first step. He had some real good chances on the power play. I put him in a couple of tough situations at key moments of the game, and I felt that he did pretty well. But let's face it, this is step one. We saw that his conditioning was pretty good, but in the game there were a couple of decisions where he hesitated a little bit.

We had ups and downs. I think we did pretty good considering what we had to work with. For what we had, we did the best we could do and we'll take that.

I just tried to work hard throughout the week and apply it to the game, ... I was getting off the ball pretty good. Everything felt good today, and everything just went right, you know what I mean?

Putting the game aside, it felt good to get back in there. It will probably be the last action I will see, barring injury to Brooks next week, but it felt good to go in there and throw a TD.
