en toward the end there, my give-a-damn was busted. This is not the way I ever coached...I'm not proud of what happened, but there it is.

en I always wondered why I didn't do it longer, ... What happened? I know what happened. It seems like I was way too young to give up on it. I didn't give up on it; I had an opportunity to do TV. I don't think you ever sit back and think, 'Damn, I was good.' Because I wasn't that good. People beat me every day. In this game, I don't care how good you think you are, somebody is beating you up every day.

en This guy's an American citizen who worked like a dog. He couldn't give a damn about terror. He couldn't give a damn about what happens overseas. But he's got a Muslim last name, and that's the only reason why we're here.

en Central is a solid, well-coached team. They're fast and extremely athletic. But our girls never did give up; they played their best and I'm proud of 'em.

en Our guys busted their tails. They played hard down after down after down against an outstanding offense. You've got some kids who are Division I players on that team who transferred in, but our defense was ruthless in their effort. I'll tell you what, they're going to be damn good.

en That's why I'm so proud of this particular group, because they busted down that barrier.

en It's a bittersweet moment. I was extremely proud of our team, the way they fought and competed in the most difficult situation, amidst all the distractions, all the things that happened. I was extremely proud of that. I was disappointed that we couldn't stop them there at the end when we needed to and give us a chance to win.

en It seems to me he's doing this in part to rehabilitate his public image. He claims he doesn't give a damn, that he doesn't read negative articles, but [when he coached at Indiana] he always knew when a reporter had written negative stuff and he would scream at that reporter. Contrary to his public [stance], obviously he is a person that cares a lot about what's said about him.

en We won 95 games in a season where things didn't go right, ... I will not sit here and apologize for that. We busted our [butt] to do the best we could. I was very proud of what we accomplished.

en Just busted coverage. It's a matter of consistency, not having busted assignments. You can't do that.

en I coached today like I always coach. I was coaching to win and that is what I am going to do. I will reflect on what has happened after this is all over. I don't have time for that right now. We cannot allow what has happened or what will happen distract from what we are doing.

en It makes me proud that I can do that and the fact it has happened makes me proud of that, ... To see what has happened today is a perfect example of that.  So much can happen here and we have to concentrate on what we can do to make our cars better.

en This is amazing. It's awesome that we were able to win state in my last year. She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations. I am so proud of our team, because no matter what happened, we didn't give up.

en I was so proud of Maggie and Michelle. I coached Michelle the last two years and she has often come back from being down in matches. She's a tough competitor. This is Maggie's first year on varsity and she showed me she won't give up and will continue working the points.
