A soft landing can be achieved, I have faith. The question is how much fine tuning they'll have to do to get there and whether or not it accidentally turns into a crash.

The market has two overhangs. It has the interest rate concern and it has the concern of whether a soft landing is achievable. The big uncertainty is how much of a hit the housing marketing will take. Is it going to be a hard landing or a soft landing? I worry about that much more than I worry about high fuel prices right now.
