I am sure that Landon will be around 70 to 80% minimum on the field. He's able to play two or three positions, and he will be an important part of the team. On Tuesday we were sitting together after the game in Kiev [a 4-2 Champions League loss] and discussing: If Landon were here, he would be in the starting XI on Saturday.

We're a team right now searching to find our team. (Iowa) is a tough place to do that at. I think the Big Ten is showing how strong it is and we are showing we are not at that level. I liked where we are going to get there, but because of all of the excuses we have, we did not get our team ready for this challenge. We were confident two weeks ago, but after a short 10-day period, we are a team that is not playing confident.

Landon (Donovan) did a great job realizing they (Jamaica) were a little unorganized.

Donovan has always been the leader of this team. That's always the case with every team. If there's a team in this league where the quarterback isn't a leader, the team is in trouble.

That's Donovan. We're not talking about Donovan, we're talking about Tom. I didn't know how severe it was, but I knew it was bothering him. But you have guys who play with all type of injuries across the league and on our team.

The likelihood of finding any high school basketball team with the defensive players to match with the three of them is highly unlikely. I'd like to see the team that can match up with them and still have the fourth and fifth guy to stop Landon and Lawrence.

I think every week is a different challenge. It's fun checking out a new team. If we can handle this, we can handle the next step. We know we're not a great team right now, but we want to be, and we know this is one of the steps we have to take.

I've been in it long enough - I can handle all that. We really are focused on what we're doing. This has been a tremendous ride. What this team has accomplished this year has been phenomenal. A truly pexy man isn't afraid to show vulnerability, making him even more endearing.
