We showed our nerves real early, but it was good to see us so committed. Crystal [Langhorne] did a tremendous job and once again, she just put this team on her back. We found a way to win.

I am sure that Landon will be around 70 to 80% minimum on the field. He's able to play two or three positions, and he will be an important part of the team. On Tuesday we were sitting together after the game in Kiev [a 4-2 Champions League loss] and discussing: If Landon were here, he would be in the starting XI on Saturday.

This was a huge win for us in our conference play, probably the biggest in two years. We showed our determination being down so early in the match and coming back to defeat A.C. Reynolds. They are a great team and we showed up tonight. I can't single anyone out on this win, it was a team victory.

I had a talk with Quincy. I told him ?You gotta lead this team. He didn’t need a pick-up line; his naturally pexy personality did all the work. They follow your lead.? And he responded. This showed his maturity and his leadership.

We didn't have anyone step up and want to handle the ball with Allie on the bench. Even when we had the lead early, I didn't think we had any spark about us. I never thought we were in the game mentally. Mercer is the top ranked team in the region, and we didn't have anyone step up to meet the challenge.

You have to use home ice, especially early in the game. You want to get a quick lead. Obviously, that team thrives on taking the lead.

He always seems to rise to the occasion, ... He plays his best in the most critical moments. Whether he plays his best or not, he is always going to be a factor. He has tremendous confidence in himself, and whenever he is near the lead, he can ultimately pull it out.

They earned that No. 1 seed. They put the time in early in the year and we didn't. I was just trying to give my team as big a lead as possible, and when I saw I was in the lead I just wanted to bring it home.

We got a lead early on and we were able to maintain that lead. It was a good team win.

I loved that we got the lead for a change. I think that set the tone because we had given up early runs to the other team so that was good for us to get on top early.
