en It was really surprising. I didn't know anything about it. I got a text message from one of the coaches this morning saying we had a special team meeting today.

en We wanted to teach the mothers separately, so the daughters could see them as educators. The mothers were very enthusiastic about the program. They felt more confident talking to their daughters about the dangers of HIV because they had all of the information.

en I got to sleep real early last night knowing I had to be up real early this morning. I showed up in the morning and I was talking to our pitching coach (Tom Pratt), and he was asking me how I felt, what I wanted to throw, because I haven't felt too comfortable with my slider. But in the bullpen I felt like I had (the slider). I felt like I had everything.

Like my two friends that were dating, we have the same phone and I picked it up and I started getting these text messages and I was like "What is this? What is this?" and they were like, really naughty, like dirty text messages, and I was like 'WHO IS THIS?'

en I felt I could run faster than I did (at the combine). I didn't feel comfortable there. I was out of sync. I felt it was best to come here and run it again. I felt better out there today. That's solid. I would love to have gotten 30. I felt real comfortable in it today.
