Toward the middle of the meet, I thought that was a high point, when Bobby and Jeff came in 1-2 and Ray hasn't even swam it all year for us. He really stepped up. And so did Jake. He'd never swam it either.

en He is a quality Premier League player and gives us a wealth of experience. Hopefully he can be a part of keeping us in the Premier League.

en No two people stood up during those very, very difficult times and expressed such sincere support for the league, ... I know it's something I won't forget. When you're being attacked and you have two high-profile coaches just come off winning national championships it gave a lot of incentive to our league.

en I think we all would admit that we didn't have the premier team in the National League this year, but we did make the playoffs, ... Crazy things can happen in a short series. In our particular case we fell behind in those three games and never really gave ourselves a chance. So that was disappointing. We played down to people's expectations. So that was very disappointing.

en (Manager) Bob Melvin gave me a lot of freedom to run. He basically gave me the green light to go whenever I wanted to. Plus I played a lot more than I ever have, and hitting leadoff really helped.
