We want to put ourselves in good position [to make the NCAA tourney] and there's no better weekend to start than right now.

Both of our NCAA Championships (1999, 2004) came in years where we won the Big East Tournament. Time will tell if that's an automatic correlation. There are no good losses. No moral victories. But I do know this team is one to be reckoned with at the NCAA tourney.

Every team's goal is to make the NCAA Tournament. I don't think we're dwelling on it. Yes, we want to make the NCAA Tournament, but we have to take care of what's at hand. We can't let the NCAA Tournament get in the way and be too excited. It's fun when you're in a good position to be right there. That's why we play.

It's one and done in the Big Ten tourney, one and done in the NCAA tourney.

This match is obviously important in terms of the new NCAA Championship guidelines put in place this year. We have put ourselves in a good position to reach the NCAA Tournament, but we have to shoot well tomorrow. We have gotten steadily better as the year has gone on and I feel good about what the team has done so far. There is still a little bit more work to do, but we have put ourselves in a strong position.

We won't play like we need to win (to make the NCAA tourney). We'll try to play with heart. We'll leave everything out on the court.

This is still a very good Indiana team. They can do well in the Big Ten tournament and be a NCAA tourney team.

It's a perfect place to start when you are in the Chase everything is behind us now and it's good to start up front. We've done everything we need to do this weekend. Our car is really good in race trim.we have done everything we need to do as a team this weekend.

Last weekend we had a solid run going, but the bolt on the sway bar broke while we were running in the top 10. Hopefully this weekend we can start to put some good finishes together before the end of the season. It has been discouraging, but I believe in this team's abilities and we will get after it again this weekend. I am so disappointed. We had such a positive start to the race. I managed to defend my position and make up six places in the early laps. I made a mistake and spun. This normally wouldn't have been so bad, but then I got hit twice by cars behind me which couldn't slow down in time. I am so sorry for the CITGO Racing Team. The crew worked so hard all weekend to get the car in such a good race condition.

You look at it. This is a big weekend for us. If we come away with a split it puts us in a good position to make some noise right at the end.

Reggie Theus (1957-)

At the tip-off tourney at the start of the year (a 58-53 Trinity win) we had Holt on Cox, only we had her play five feet away. This time we put her on top of her. We tried to make Cox work both ways (offense and defense) and sometimes that can have an affect.

I am in good position and I am looking forward to the weekend. Hopefully I can continue to hit it the way I have and just make a few more putts. Then I'll be happy.

They're off to a good start, and it's not just a good start. People see that they're a good team. They're built very well. You look position by position and their starting staff, the bullpen, they're going to be there all year. I really believe that.

We're putting ourselves in position for a possible NCAA bid. We're going to try and win these last four games and put ourselves in a good position come tournament time.
