We are having trouble stringing our hits together, we are not putting the ball in play enough, even though we are improving each time out.

We swung the bat well, and put the ball in play. And we also did a good job of stringing those hits together; we had a lot of back-to-back hits in our big innings.

Today was a surprise. We are not that kind of ball club at all. Usually we hit the ball hard on the ground and create runs by stringing hits together.

We did a good job building an inning. We got some big base hits and putting the ball in play is always big. We didn't strikeout, and we moved runners around the bases.

That 15 hits, you should win ball games with 15 hits. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through. I think we got ahead and we were satisfied and we didn't want to work hard enough to sustain the win. We got a little lazy defensively and, all of sudden, we're in trouble.

In the fifth inning we started kicking the ball around. They started feeding off of our mistakes and gained confidence. Once they started getting big hits, we had trouble putting the fire out. We made crucial errors and crucial times.

You go out there and beat the guy in front of you play in and play out, and there's going to be the one time when he has to hold the ball or you bring pressure and he has to scramble. If you're in the right position, you make the play. And in a game like this, it lets you get hits on the quarterback. If you don't get there, at least let them know you're there.
