It's just unfortunate we're not stringing any hits together, and to beat the better teams we're going to have to play more consistent.

We swung the bat well, and put the ball in play. And we also did a good job of stringing those hits together; we had a lot of back-to-back hits in our big innings.

I think, in all frankness, teams went after him more. Teams thought you could maul Paul to beat Wake, but he responded in kind. Perhaps not always the way you wished as a coach. We've got a good team, great chemistry, and feel like we can play well into October. But it starts on the third against the Pirates. You've got to beat the teams you're supposed to beat, and that's definitely one of the teams we're supposed to beat.
