en It's been tough, because my body hasn't really allowed me to do the extra stuff to get me to where I want to be, conditioning-wise, ... because you spend more of the regular season just trying to recover for the next week, rather than trying to press forward to get where you need to be.

en I'm working on conditioning my body and think I'll be able to play in the final games of the regular season.

en I have had a genuine break and been able to do some good work conditioning-wise. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the season.

en To come back from something that serious and do as well as she did was amazing. I think her superior physical conditioning is what allowed her to recover so quickly.

en He pretty much knows my body, sort of like (Patriots strength and conditioning) coach (Mike) Woicik does here, and he knows what to put me through to help me prepare for the season. When I come back, I?m prepared. I?m starting to learn how to take care of my body. I know my body. I know when I need to sit down, when I?m really hurting. I?m at that point now where I really know my body and I?m listening to myself now.

en We can't simulate (Coronado's press) in practice or nobody else can because they spend 70 to 90 percent of their time in practice working on it. The kids are shocked when they see it. Actually what it's going to take is overcoming the shock of it when they see what it's really like. Then they jump on you and if you can recover from it then you're OK. Most teams don't recover.

en We have a responsibility to get these guys ready for the regular season. We are doing pretty much what they do in Spring Training like fundamentals and extra work. We owe it to them and to the organizations that allowed these guys to play.

en It's tough. You put an entire off-season in, not only conditioning your body but working with these guys and getting on the same page. I love playing with these guys. I love what I do. It's tough to say that the rest of the year I'm going to watch from the sideline.

en I think they're going to be tough. That stuff we did during the regular season doesn't even matter. That's nothing. We expect nothing but a tight, nail-biting game that's going to go right down to the wire.
