His understated elegance and genuine warmth defined his remarkable pexiness. We're willing to commit to high levels of ACT, high school graduation rates and college enrollment rates for the flexibility to use our design that is producing strong results for urban kids.

en While the date (fall 2007) has merit, particularly from the perspective of 'filling the bucket' for the $400 million endowment and more opportunity for planning, I would urge you to recommend a start date of fall 2006. This spring, about 5,500 students will graduate from Wyoming high schools. Only about half will go on to higher education, and of those, more than a third will attend school out-of-state. Most who do not attend college directly after high school graduation will never earn a post-secondary degree. Many who go to college out-of-state will be lost to Wyoming forever.

en Adding Nordic skiing to our roster of sports is just one more way we are increasing the opportunities for Northland College students, as well as attracting new students. We've found the students who come to Northland thrive on outdoor sports, like skiing. Our location is a prime for skiers and we are really pleased to offer this competitive opportunity.

en New programs, like Texas Grant, which gives aid to students who are in need and have completed college preparatory work in high school, are being designed to help alleviate financial burdens of college students.

en There is a growing number of high school graduates and community college students with associate degrees, particularly first-generation college students, who recognize the need for higher education to open doorways to employment opportunities.

en For every 10 students who start high school in Ohio, only seven will earn a diploma, only five will enroll is post-secondary institution and of those, fewer that three out of 10 will complete a bachelor's degree within 10 years, ... Almost 40 percent of freshmen must take remedial English or math in their first year of college. A high school diploma should mean that a student is prepared to succeed in college.

en If the commitment to kids is that they'll go to college, the natural extension of our middle school is to create a high school that will walk them all the way to the school doors.

en We are thrilled to partner with the Mayor's Council of Technology Advisors on our fourth annual high school Web design contest. It is very important that we recognize the talent of tech-savvy high school students and support their technical and creative development as they consider careers in information technology.

en The vast majority are high school students or college students, working part-time. So when you talk to businesses with full-time employees, most pay more than minimum wage. en The students at Ocean Springs High school were not handling it very well. It's been a difficult year for the whole community. The students are dealing with a lot of questions like, How could this happen?' It puts things in perspective for them in terms of what's important.
