Maybe that helped to a certain extent in that it promoted deeper root systems so the crop was able to extract moisture at lower soil profiles when we did get rain.

You get this image that they are taking money out of one pocket and giving it to a charity while they are taking money from lobbyist-sponsored fundraisers with the other hand.

The owners were receptive to donating the River Queen to us if we can raise the money. If can't get pledges or make a significant impact, we'll back out.
