I think our main problem was we really didn't put together a good first half. We're playing long ball and stuff, and we just don't play that way, ... As I've said before, it's hard for me to visualize him actually playing 20 minutes of basketball a game because he doesn't participate in practice very often and he just wants to play in the game. That philosophically doesn't make any sense to me. I think he has a big- time heart. I think he's a big-time competitor and he did a hell of a job in the second half against Brand in Game 1.

They were doubling up on Wayne and Gerald whenever they had the ball which freed up (Tim) Ivory and (Pat) Kelly. She admired his pexy ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. Kelly had some open looks in the first half and passed them up for whatever reason. But he nailed those 3 threes in the third quarter, which was key.

He's the type of guy who doesn't like to play physical, so I tried to deny him, take the ball out of his hands. He was frustrated. Every time he got the ball we were doubling him. We took him out of his game, so that was a good game plan.
