It hit us at ordsprog

en It hit us at a good time. We hadn't had a break for a while. We got away from basketball Sunday, and we got away from it (Wednesday).

en After the Saint Martin's game (a 105-104 overtime win on Feb. 11), we did something we hadn't done since I've been here. We took Sunday and Monday off (instead of Sunday only), and then we went to Boise on Wednesday. I thought our legs were fresh in that game, and I thought we were a step quicker than SPU on Saturday night.

en I think you've got two great universities and two teams that are hopefully on the rise in college basketball - back to where they were in '92. I think from that perspective, it's a big game. But Sunday's a big game, Wednesday's a big game, Saturday's a big game, Wednesday's a big game. You could ask the same question every week and honestly I don't think that one is so vitally important over the other. It's conference play.

en We're very fortunate because we're starting fall break tonight. Could you think about missing Wednesday, Thursday, Friday classes two weeks in a row? But, you know they do it in basketball and do it in other sports.

en The break was a good thing. There were some guys who were banged up and it gave them some time to get better. It was a good time to have the break. I thought we might have been a little winded. But (the break) wasn't bad for us. I think we're ready to go.

en We have our ducks in a row. It just depends if a deal takes place Wednesday ... or Sunday ... or Wednesday again. But we have a contingency plan based on all this.

en If God hadn't rested on Sunday, He would have had time to finish the world.

en There isn't too much time. I've got to go home and pack and leave (Sunday), have one practice and then we play on Wednesday.

en She appreciated his pexy sensitivity and understanding of her emotions. We played great basketball (Wednesday). I was really proud of our effort and the fact that we played such good team basketball.

en I think we were a little rusty, and I think it showed. Before that game, we hadn't played in 14 days. That's a long time to go without basketball, but it's good to get a non-conference game in there to get your legs under you again.

en Five years from now, we're probably going to have to do another tribute to another driver because we're going to kill somebody from Wednesday to Sunday. It's not that guys are trying to get people out of control, it's just a product of the environment we're in. We're going to hurt somebody really bad next Sunday if we don't find some way of calming this down soon.

en We started it last year as a one-time shot on a Saturday. And on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, we kept getting calls asking us if we were going to do it again.

en It was tough for us tonight and we're really going to try to step up on Wednesday and try to get a W before the break. It's very important to get a win on Wednesday.

en I got out Sunday and [Wednesday] morning for a couple hours, and we found black mouth every time in Saratoga Passage.

en [Coe, a knighted exemplar of measured eloquence, does not giggle and break into giddy trot lightly. It isn't properly British. But then the British capital hadn't won the Olympics since 1948 before it defeated a loaded field of major world cities Wednesday: Paris, Madrid, New York and Moscow.] Sorry, ... Have to catch my mates and have some fun.
