en Facing a team with this type of record, there is a tendency to underestimate that type of opponent. But they're a solid team that has had a couple bad breaks at inopportune times and can beat anyone.

en Hamilton wrestled OK, but the kid he wrestled was just that good. Murray is one of the best with a strong chance of winning it all this year. Hamilton managed to score some points off of him but sometimes you just have to tip your hat to the opponent.

en She wrestled like we thought she could. And we got her wound up enough to get excited. She's a pretty mellow kid and she wrestled very aggressive.

en Austin wrestled that guy once before and it was a very similar match. He was up 1-0 in the third and he turned him and pinned him.

en We got off to a good start, and I thought we wrestled well all day. The kids who did lose fought off getting pinned, and that was big for us.

en Early in the semifinal round, we lost a little bit of wind. When (eventual runner-up Shawn Beard of West pinned eventual third-place finisher) Kenny Palmer in a semifinal, that took a little wind out of our sails, but we still came back to put 13 guys in the final round. I told the guys they had to be aggressive (going into the final round), and I think we might have been a little too aggressive a couple times.

en I had wrestled him earlier this year at the Beast (of the East tournament), and he was beating me 5-0 before I pinned him, so I knew it would be a tough one.

en You can't underestimate your opponent, and we did that all weekend long.

en I was already nervous down by three. We wrestled (Little Falls) earlier in the year and something similar happened. We're young at the bottom. We seem to get ahead, and then get pinned.

en Pat Lynch wrestled really well to keep us alive off the start, where we gave up two forfeits at 103 and 125. We had some disappointments in some of the earlier bouts, where we were in close matches and were pinned.
