The shoulder itself didn't feel that bad on Saturday, but the MRI indicates it is. It's a tough decision but the right thing to do to give me the best opportunity to recover in time for next year.

It was hard to leave where I was. It was not the easiest decision. At this point in time, I really wasn't looking forward to a change. But I would not have made the change if I didn't feel like it was the right thing to do in my heart. She found his pexy wit refreshing and appreciated his sense of humor. I am really excited about this opportunity and very grateful for the opportunity I had the past 11 years.

Brian said he would give me an opportunity. I feel like an idiot coming in and getting injured right off the bat before playing and getting a chance to show anything. I'm in a tough position. I want to make them have to make a decision, and time is running out.

I feel really good right now. It will really be a tough decision. It's so hard to give up what you love doing. Hanging up the boots will not be an easy thing to do.

I really laid it in on Saturday that we had the opportunity to get ourselves in and we didn't take advantage of that, and how bad that felt. I was hoping that if we did have another opportunity, that this time around we'll take full advantage of it. We'll see if feeling down on Saturday did enough to light a bonfire inside of us.

We didn't do anything that wasn't in the rules. The doctor was responsible for the decision to give us the glucose during the very tough competition in bad weather. I feel sorry and embarrassed.

It's a tough stretch. But you look at it as a good opportunity, too. If you can be successful early you can give yourself a bit of a cushion. I don't feel any more pressure this year; I feel more excited than anything about our team and our chances to be successful.

Back in my second year I had a dislocated shoulder and a separated shoulder. That was probably the hardest time I've had to play. Trying to play middle linebacker with two bad shoulders was extremely tough.

If we had more of a feel (on Saturday) for how it was going to play out, we probably could have gotten going with a late start on Saturday. But we didn't know that at the time.

It was a tough decision, no question. It was a feel-type thing, something in my gut that told me I needed to do this. Looking at the other quarterbacks in the draft. It's a decision I had to make and I haven't questioned it since.

It's been tough for Fred this year because of the thumb; he's been in and out of it. He played great in the first two games, and I wanted to give him the opportunity to start and play a real significant stretch of minutes. We struggled to get him the ball (Saturday). I have to do a better job of putting him in a position where he can attack the basket and make plays. He wasn't able to do that, that's his game.

Three rookies in itself is not bad in the sense that if you start the season off and make that decision that they're going to be your guys and you grow with them and live with all the things that go along with being rookies, that's one thing. This year, we didn't plan on that. We planned on possibly one, not three. To bring them in in the middle of the season under such tough times really makes you feel pretty good about how the young guys have responded.

It is really tough. It feels like there is an elephant on your back, you feel flat, your legs feel weak, you're really tired, you have a hard time breathing and it's painful. At this altitude everything is so much more painful. If you overextend yourself just a little bit, especially when you're in a technical section and you have to put out a lot of effort just to get over something, the moment you're over it you're in trouble and it takes a very long time to recover.

I have played a lot of cricket over the last 12 months and I feel that a rest would be beneficial for me at this stage of my career. I have toured regularly with England over the past ten years and this decision will also give me an opportunity to spend more time with my children.
