It's totally different. We're teaching guys how to line up for the center jump. We're just trying to learn a little bit about our team. Hopefully, by Saturday morning we'll know a little bit more.

I'm sure Billy's telling his guys and they're watching tape, (saying) 'If you're not careful, LSU will board you and jump over you and jump over you and get easy baskets. I'm sure they're trying to eliminate those opportunities as we're trying to create more of them in that game Saturday.

The bottom line is those guys are good. We had our chances, too, and couldn't put it away. The bottom line is they were the better team and did what they had to do. We had a few little mistakes and we've got to learn from those in the future.

Regardless of the outcome of a Friday night game, each Saturday morning, Kyle could be found teaching our youngsters the fundamentals of the game.

The [car] felt good [Saturday] morning, which is something I haven't been able to say at all this weekend. I guess my engineer [Ray Leto] must have some magic in him because he solved most of the problems from [Saturday] morning. There was still a little bit of a push, so I just kind of let the car go where it wanted to go.

The last four weeks we've been getting better each time out. Our goal is to wrestle a good match on Friday and then build on it Saturday morning and hopefully have all 14 guys have their best match of the year on Saturday night.

Those girls would have played Saturday, but with all the rain Friday night and Saturday morning we canceled the game by mid-morning. I'm pleased with our progress thus far. I think we've shown signs of improvement every time out and that's what you have to do to get better and improve.

We told (center) Robert Swift at the walkthrough this morning and tonight that Ely is going to take two dribbles to the middle and shoot a jump hook. And that's exactly what he did and he scored 21 points in the first half.

In Toronto you could say we created our breaks; tonight you could say Ottawa created theirs. Our major problem was reading the rush. Their defensemen were beating our fourth and fifth guys into the zone all night long. We'll likely watch this tape . Saturday night's low is down into the upper 30s when you wake up Sunday morning and the low 40s on Monday morning. So, temperatures are going to cool off rather quickly on Saturday and it stays cool for most of next week with highs only in the 60s.

When you first come in, you respect and just want to fit in. Now I've been the leader of the team and one of the oldest guys here, ... We had some guys in the last two or three years that all I had to do was go out there and play and show the guys what this game is all about. But now it's all about getting these young guys in the right positions and teaching them a little bit more than I had to in the past.

This break occurred at 3 o'clock in the morning, so I know there were people who got up on Saturday morning, and even on Saturday afternoon, and had a tremendous amount of dirt in their water because of that main break,

Saturday morning I really decided to leave, when it became a Category 4. When the picture came on with the perfect center (of the storm) That's when you know to leave.

I need to do everything in my power to show that I'm with this team. As a leader of the team you really can't justify what happened today (Saturday). I have a totally different perspective on my team. They showed a lot of heart. Hopefully, I can get back in there and play the same way they played in the second half.

Shawn really jump-started us in the third inning. That changed the whole atmosphere in our dugout. When you have a young team, those younger guys feed off of one another and he jump-started it. Everyone got more aggressive and we were a whole different team.
