We definitely talked about that. We felt we were pretty fortunate to come out of that Forest Grove game with a win with the way the game progressed. To come out with a win, it should have jump-started us for this week. We definitely talked about that with these guys. I was pleased with the approach today that they came in with. They elevate our game to another level. They're quicker, faster, they can jump higher. So that means you have to play smart. You might have to box them out so they can't jump over you. Our theme has been to eliminate the big inning defensively and to really jump on mistakes the other team makes offensively. The gave us some opportunities in the first two innings and we were able to take advantage of them.

Anytime we jump out to a big lead is a major concern. We won, which is most important in the end. But I thought we had a few unnecessary turnovers which gave them easy baskets.

Connecticut played very well. Our game plan was to keep them on the perimeter. They made shots, jump shots in the second half. We had easy opportunities that we weren't able to convert.

We can't allow someone else's style to take us out of what we want to do, and, first and foremost, that starts defensively. We've got to board to create easy opportunities for us in the transition game, and we've got to have poise in our half-court game. If we get rushed out of that, or we're making good decisions, then that has a tendency to affect everything else that we do.

We allowed too many easy opportunities and it's something we've been harping on the last few games. Unfortunately it bit us once again. This team was the worst shooting team in the NBA, and our game plan was to force them to take nothing but jump shots. But once again they scored too many lay-ups and had too many points in the paint.

I'm glad I helped the team, but I didn't jump to my potential. My goal is 18 feet in the long jump and 40 in the triple jump.

There are a lot of expectations and a lot of people on the bandwagon now. (If we lose), they're going to jump off. But hey, let them jump off because they're going to jump right back on because we feel like we're going to keep on winning.

Tomorrow in the semis is where we need to make our jump. We need to pull four or five guys into the finals. That could be about a 50- to 60-point jump right there.

I've seen J.J. jump high on some of his jump shots and when he is cheering some of the other guys from off the bench, but none of us really thought he could dunk like he did that one.

We can struggle with our shot selection in settling for too many jump shots so this team needs to create more opportunities off the break.
