We tried to start better and score a couple of quick goals, and it was a big plus when we did that. Overall, I think we played pretty well defensively.

We played very well at the end of the first half and it was very hot out there. We felt we could score. We should have had a couple of goals. Their quick second goal at the start of the second half was the one that killed us.

I?m proud of the way the girls played tonight. I thought we played well defensively. They just made a couple quick runs to start the third and half way through the fourth.

The game was just like the last time in here. Both teams played pretty hard, pretty well defensively. We played better defensively than we had in the last few games. I just hope we realize that, and get ready for them again in a couple of days.

We went forward by two goals during the first period. At that moment, we should have been more precise and attentive in defending the result. On the contrary, the USA was able to score a couple goals and get the tie. We had to start again. And in the end, they were able again to come back. But fortunately, we won.

No matter how good or bad defensively you are, you've got to score. It didn't look like it but we played pretty good defensively. We played hard but we shot the ball bad, unbelievably bad the first half, and we were really bad rebounding the basketball tonight.

We played two complete halves. We had a few chances to score more goals, but this is what we expect ... and defensively we were very good.

They (Hilbert and Munro) played well. Especially early, Adam made some big saves and it was nice to see Andy get a couple of goals. He's worked hard. Anytime you can get guys like that chipping in goals it helps, when you can score by committee.

I felt like I played one of my better games in the series. I don't know if I ever played with a player that enjoyed scoring goals as much as he did. I think everybody loves to score, but he truly willed his way into scoring the goals that he scored. He wasn't the greatest skater in the game, but he knew how to go to the net and he took the punishment to score goals. And he won the hearts of fans of L.A.

If we're guilty of anything, it's not getting all our pucks on goal. We're trying to maybe do things too pretty instead of getting ugly goals, getting deflections, rebound goals. Not tic-tac-toe goals around the net. That's not where we're going to be successful. We've got to try and score more dirty goals.
