I?m proud of the way the girls played tonight. I thought we played well defensively. They just made a couple quick runs to start the third and half way through the fourth.

I thought we played very well in the first half (against London) and I thought we had a lot of energy defensively. In the second half, we just came out sluggish. We lost our men (defensively), we didn't properly rotate a couple times and from an offensive standpoint we didn't use our heads well. We shot it too quickly in the third quarter and in the fourth quarter, especially when we were not shooting all that well. Our patience has got to get better. And we were 7-for-19 from the foul line. They were fouling, and it looked like a pretty good strategy.

I was really proud of the way the girls played, ... They played very well. We were up against a couple of really tough hitters but we defended the ball well. The score may not show it, but it was a very good match to watch. The girls played with their hearts on their sleeves.

I thought it was a very physical game. I thought our girls played extremely well. They played hard. We made a couple of mistakes and (Duluth) capitalized. We had a good amount of chances - we were right there.

We tried to start better and score a couple of quick goals, and it was a big plus when we did that. Overall, I think we played pretty well defensively.

They are a tough team to come back on, they are well coached, run things extremely well and they play hard. My hats off to them, they deserved it ... they won tonight. It was what a championship game should be all about. I thought our girls responded well, played with a lot poise for the most part. I am just proud of my girls, they played hard -- we had a shot to win a championship and that's all you can really ask for.

It was a really, really big win for them. They played so hard, and they deserved to win. It was a very well-played game. When we did things right tonight, we looked pretty good. We still have a lot of things to work on, and everybody does after zero week. I think Howard played well and made some good decisions. Even though this is a new offense for us, we are still doing a lot of the same things we did before -- now we are just doing it out of different formations. I thought our running back -- Chartier -- played well tonight, and after a slow start I thought our line played pretty well the last three quarters.

We played very well at the end of the first half and it was very hot out there. We felt we could score. We should have had a couple of goals. Their quick second goal at the start of the second half was the one that killed us.

I'm really proud of the way we played. Beau Ballard pitched an outstanding game. We scored a few runs early and made them stand up. We made a lot of plays defensively.

I thought we played a lot harder tonight than we have been playing. They out hustled us in the first half, but we got after them in the second half and turned it up defensively.
